This month we will be doing a lot of activities having to do with living things. We will be planting our own plants and watch them grow to learn about the different parts of plants and what they need to grow.
We are learning more and more each day and are doing a really good job reading and writing and preparing for next school year!! Stay tuned for more updates and pictures!!

My name is Mrs. Williams and I am the Kindergarten and First grade teacher at Sunrise Education Center. I have been teaching here for 3 years and have been a teacher for a total of 6 years. I went to Michigan State University and I am a HUGE sports fan. My husband and I love traveling and will be going again this summer to Alaska with a group of middle and high school students with the Alaska Great Lakes Project (www.aglp.com) It is an amazing experience for all involved.

- The Sunrise Education Center is an academic based charter school including grades PreK - 8. Our school is located in the small rural city of East Tawas. We opened our doors in September 1996.
